Union Mine waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Rosemont Wolverines 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Union Mine was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-6, 25-15.

Kyra Wooden paced Union Mine's offense, picking up nine kills. Wooden got some help from Allison Eschleman and her 15 assists. Eschleman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Union Mine's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Rosemont, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-16.

Coming up, Union Mine will head out on the road to face off against Amador at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rosemont, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Los Banos on the 11th.
