North Eugene extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping them up to 11-4-1. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Ashland Grizzlies. Five seems to be a good number for the Highlanders as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

As for Ashland, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Ashland's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Phoenyx Pennell, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

North Eugene will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Grizzlies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
