Wilton and Darien are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Warriors will head out to square off against the Blue Wave at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Saturday, Wilton didn't have quite enough to beat Lyman Hall and fell 5-4. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Darien put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Immaculate by a score of 4-1. That's two games straight that the Blue Wave have won by exactly three runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Wilton and nudges their season record down to 2-3. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Darien, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Wilton came out on top in a nail-biter against Darien when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
