Basketball Recap: Limestone Finds Home Court Redemption Against Lincoln

There's no place like home for Limestone, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lincoln Railsplitters on Monday, sneaking past 48-45. The Rockets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Railsplitters, too.

Lincoln lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Makinley Knapp, who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Clark, who earned 12 points.

Limestone's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7. As for Lincoln, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-7.

Limestone won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Metamora at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln, they will venture away from home to square off against Pleasant Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
