Baseball Recap: Coventry Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Coventry won the last time they faced Windsor Locks and things went their way on Saturday too. The Patriots came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 6-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Dustin Menzel was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Dominic Deangelis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Coventry pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Windsor Locks, they moved to 15-7 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
