Basketball Game Preview: Ninety Six Wildcats vs. Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes

The Ninety Six Wildcats will square off against the Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ninety Six is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Ninety Six ended up a good deal behind Emerald and lost 64-46. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ty Ridlehoover, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamarious Dunlap, who put up nine points.

Meanwhile, Calhoun Falls Charter can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 78-65 win over Thornwell.

Ninety Six's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Calhoun Falls Charter, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Ninety Six skirted past Calhoun Falls Charter 58-56 when the teams last played on Friday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ninety Six since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
