Softball Recap: Holy Cross Cougars vs. Bullitt East Chargers
Holy Cross fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Bullitt East on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bullitt East Chargers by a score of 3-2. Holy Cross will head out on the road to face off against Pleasure Ridge Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pleasure Ridge Park will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Holy Cross surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bullitt East, they will be playing at home against DuPont Manual at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. DuPont Manual is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
