Basketball Recap: Ripley Victorious

Ripley's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They managed a 49-43 victory over the Blue Mountain Cougars. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 62-36 loss the last time these two teams met.

Ripley's win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Blue Mountain, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ripley will head out to face off against Tishomingo County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tishomingo County will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Ripley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Blue Mountain, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Blue Mountain Cougars face off against the Jumpertown Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
