Baseball Recap: Southeast Polk Takes a Loss

Southeast Polk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Northwest Wolves, falling 8-2. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Wolves when the teams met back in July of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Southeast Polk's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Northwest, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southeast Polk will take on Urbandale at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northwest, they will challenge Bishop Heelan Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
