Austintown-Fitch put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Ursuline Fighting Irish with a sharp 12-2 win. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly ten runs.

Tori Greathouse spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Morgan Roby and Kaliana Ray did most of the damage at the plate: Roby went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Ray scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Rodgers, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Austintown-Fitch's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Looking ahead, Austintown-Fitch will host Jefferson Area at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ursuline, they will head out on the road to challenge Gilmour Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
