Silex came tearing into Friday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Mexico Bulldogs 5-1. Considering Silex have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Silex's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Mexico, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
