Volleyball Recap: Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Comes Up Short

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors, falling 3-0. If the Lion were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Chancellors when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-5, 25-17.

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. Thomas More Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill will venture away from home to take on Calvary Day School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Thomas More Academy, they will head out to challenge Thales Academy Apex at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
