Basketball Recap: Calaveras Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Calaveras had won two straight road games and Cohen Curran did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Calaveras Red Hawks took down the Amador Buffaloes 76-58 thanks in part to Curran, who shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game.

Logan Pedersen was another key player, going 5 of 12 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Calaveras' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Amador, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Calaveras wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 76-44 win against Highlands on the 11th. As for Amador, they will head out to challenge Mariposa County at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
