Soccer Game Preview: Stratford vs. Lead Southeast

The Stratford Spartans will face off against the Lead Southeast Lobos at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Stratford is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against KIPP Nashville Collegiate on Thursday. Neither the Spartans nor the Warriors could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Lead Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Independence Academy. While losing is never fun, Lead Southeast can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 274th, while Independence Academy are ranked 33rd).

Stratford's draw gives them a new season record of 2-5-1. As for Lead Southeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
