Basketball Recap: C. Milton Wright Takes a Loss

C. Milton Wright was the 55-38 winner over Aberdeen when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The C. Milton Wright Mustangs lost to the Aberdeen Eagles on the road by a 56-41 margin on Wednesday.

Aberdeen's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carleto Dunson, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 18 points. The dominant performance also gave Dunson a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (57%). Collin Rogers was another key player, putting up 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

C. Milton Wright's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Aberdeen, their record is now 8-11.

Looking ahead, C. Milton Wright will take on Centennial at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aberdeen, they will challenge Patterson Mill at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
