Basketball Recap: Lexie Arnold's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mccall-Donnelly over Cole Valley Christian

After flying high against Homedale last Saturday, McCall-Donnelly came back down to earth. The McCall-Donnelly Vandals received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 53-36 to the Cole Valley Christian Chargers. The Vandals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 42-38.

Several Vandals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lexie Arnold, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Izzy Tinney, who put up eight points.

McCall-Donnelly's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Cole Valley Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-10.

McCall-Donnelly will look to defend their home court on Friday against Weiser at 7:30 p.m. As for Cole Valley Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Homedale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
