Football Recap: Gibraltar Falls to Wabeno/Laona in First Game of Season

Gibraltar unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Wabeno/Laona Rebels and fell 60-14. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gibraltar will venture away from home to face off against Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wabeno/Laona, they will head out to challenge Menominee Indian at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
