Two dominant guards in Chloe Hudson and Dream Watson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Rock Hill Bearcats will take on the Military Magnet Academy Eagles in a tournament on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Military Magnet Academy is hoping to do what Chambers couldn't on Saturday: put an end to Rock Hill's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Rock Hill breezed by Chambers to the tune of 72-25. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-10.

Hudson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8 for 17 on her way to 32 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Stevenson, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 assists.
They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Rock Hill was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2023.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Military Magnet Academy on Friday. Everything went their way against Carvers Bay as Military Magnet Academy made off with a 55-33 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Military Magnet Academy's win came from a few key players Rock Hill will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lauren Willis, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 boards. That's the most boards she has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Watson, who posted six points in addition to nine rebounds and seven assists.
Rock Hill's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Military Magnet Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Rock Hill and Military Magnet Academy are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Rock Hill hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 62 points per game. However, it's not like Military Magnet Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 62.9 points.
