Webster County never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past the Hopkins County Central Storm 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Chloe Papineau was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Papineau was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last seven contests.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kennedy Warren, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Raynei Roy, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Webster County's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Hopkins County Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-20-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webster County will take on Caldwell County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hopkins County Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Logan County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
