Schuylkill Haven had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders on Wednesday. The Hurricanes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Raiders, too.

Schuylkill Haven had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-17, 25-11, 25-19.

Schuylkill Haven's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Schuylkill Haven and Our Lady of Lourdes Regional will both be playing Tamaqua the next time they take the court. The Hurricanes will head out to face the Blue Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Red Raiders will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
