Baseball Recap: Armstrong Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Armstrong's offense. They fell just short of the Oakwood Comets by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Armstrong's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Oakwood, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Armstrong will challenge rival Watseka at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Oakwood is set to square off against their familiar foe Salt Fork at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
