Basketball Recap: King/Drew Comes Up Short

King/Drew lost against Colony back in November of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The King/Drew Golden Eagles fell just short of the Colony Titans by a score of 54-51. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King/Drew's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Colony, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King/Drew has already played their next game (against George Washington Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Colony is taking a road trip to take on Alta Loma at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Alta Loma's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
