                                                         The Warren Central Warriors will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on the Warsaw Tigers  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Warren Central is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Fort Wayne Snider. Warren Central's defense stepped up to hand Fort Wayne Snider  a   15-0 shutout  on Friday.
 Warren Central can attribute much of their success to  AIRIC HESTER, who picked up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Warren Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  ARMONTE JACKSON and  DAMIEN SHANKLIN. Warren Central got some further help from  MARCUS BELL JR.: he picked up  a  sack and made six total tackles (3.0 for loss).
 Meanwhile, Warsaw gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Friday. They walked away with  a   20-7  win over Michigan City. Given the Tigers' advantage  in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings  (they are ranked 33rd, while the Wolves are ranked 90th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
