Softball Recap: Dimond Lynx vs. Homer Mariners
Dimond got themselves on the board against Homer on Thursday, but Homer never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Mariners with a sharp 17-0 victory. The Lynx haven't had any issues with the Mariners recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Aubree Ogee made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Dimond got a massive performance out of Kea D'Elia, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave D'Elia a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hayden Estabrook, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Dimond always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .857. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Homer only posted an OBP of .100.

Dimond's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.
