Basketball Recap: Laquey Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Laquey had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Humansville Tigers by a score of 47-40 on Saturday. The 47-point effort marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win got Laquey back to even at 5-5. As for Humansville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Laquey will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tuscumbia at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. As for Humansville, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Humansville Tigers face off against the Climax Springs Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
