Football Recap: Evansville Mater Dei Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Evansville Mater Dei can now relate to. They fell just short of the Gibson Southern Titans by a score of 17-14 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since August 29th.

Gibson Southern got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zach Foster out in front who threw for 158 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 72 yards.
