Softball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Carolina Academy

There's no place like home for Carolina Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Wilson Hall Barons by a score of 5-2 on Tuesday.

Raeley Frye made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Frye was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Paisley Coker, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

Carolina Academy pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Wilson Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
