The ITW David Speer Academy Pride entered their tilt with the Johnson Pumas with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. ITW David Speer Academy walked away with a 42-29 victory over Johnson on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as ITW David Speer Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2017.
It was another big night for Miabella Collazo, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yarilyn Figueroa, who scored eight points.
ITW David Speer Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Johnson, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
The two teams will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Johnson, they will head out on the road to face off against Chicago Hope Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chicago Hope Academy will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
