Fort Hamilton lost against Lincoln back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Fort Hamilton came up short against Lincoln, falling 14-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

August Porter was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Aiden Porter, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Fort Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Lincoln, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

While Fort Hamilton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
