Softball Recap: Warren's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

Warren suffered their biggest defeat since May 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 14-4 to the Star City Bulldogs. The loss continues a trend for the Lumberjacks in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Ember Johnson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlee Wardlaw, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Warren fell to 8-1. As for Star City, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Warren will take on Drew Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Star City, they will venture away from home to square off against Woodlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
