Softball Recap: Beechwood Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Beechwood had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over Bellevue. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Beechwood also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

The win got Beechwood back to even at 9-9. As for Bellevue, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Coming up, Beechwood will take on Newport Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Thoroughbreds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.14 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bellevue, they will square off against Lloyd Memorial at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
