Volleyball Recap: Clinton Prairie Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fountain Central on Saturday, Clinton Prairie came back down to earth. The Gophers came up short against the Western Panthers on Saturday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Gophers have suffered since October 7, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-21.

Emmy Kaser paced Clinton Prairie's offense, picking up seven kills. Kaser got some help from Alexis Perez and her 20 assists. Kyndall Friedrich controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Clinton Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Clinton Prairie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against North Montgomery on the 21st. As for Western, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Fountain Central on the 16th.
