They skirted past Walsh Jesuit 28-25. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Black Tigers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Barberton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 53-30 to Holy Name. The Magics were down 37-17 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Barberton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Cuyahoga Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Everything went Cuyahoga Falls' way against Barberton when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Cuyahoga Falls made off with a 47-26 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cuyahoga Falls since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
