Baseball Recap: Wake Forest Starts off Right with Win over Seaforth

Wake Forest had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Seaforth Hawks as the Wake Forest Cougars made off with an 8-0 win.

Jackson Hardy looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ethan Brittain, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Ian Williams, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Wake Forest has already played their next game, a 10-5 victory against Leesville Road on the 28th. As for Seaforth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 4-2 win against Southern Alamance on the 27th.
