Volleyball Recap: Lawrence County Triumphs

Lawrence County's tournament run continued when they took on Headland on Saturday. The Red Devils came out on top against the Rams by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Lara Anne Norwood paced Lawrence County's offense, picking up eight kills. Norwood got some help from Ava Templeton and her 13 assists. Templeton also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Reagan Smith, each putting up two.

Lawrence County's victory bumped their record up to 20-16. As for Headland, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Lawrence County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Briarwood Christian on the 27th. Headland has also already played their next contest (against Jacksonville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
