Soccer Game Preview: Frontier vs. Strathmore

The Frontier Titans will take on the Strathmore Spartans in a tournament on Friday. Strathmore took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Frontier, who comes in off a win.

Frontier took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Bakersfield Christian. That looming 3-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Frontier yet this season.

Meanwhile, Strathmore didn't have quite enough to beat Exeter on Tuesday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Strathmore have lost by just one goal.

Frontier's victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Strathmore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3-1.

Frontier was able to grind out a solid win over Strathmore in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
