Baseball Recap: Galva Comes Up Short

After flying high against Biggsville West Central on Friday, Galva came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Farmington Farmers on Tuesday, falling 17-3.

Galva dropped their record down to 5-15 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Farmington, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

Galva has already played their next contest, a 6-4 defeat against Knoxville on the 14th. As for Farmington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-3 win against Kewanee on the 14th.
