Volleyball Game Preview: Dallas Christian Chargers vs. Greenville HomeSchool Athletics Archers

The Dallas Christian Chargers will square off against the Greenville HomeSchool Athletics Archers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dallas Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Greenville HomeSchool Athletics will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Dallas Christian made easy work of Bishop Gorman and carried off a 3-0 win. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Greenville HomeSchool Athletics didn't have quite enough to beat Sulphur Bluff on Friday and fell 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Greenville HomeSchool Athletics sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 27-25, 15-25, 15-13.

Dallas Christian will have to keep a close watch on Claire Samples and Mary Carter, a pair of players who had a big impact on Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' prior game. Samples had 12 digs and four aces, while Carter had 24 digs and two aces. Samples is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Dallas Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-1.
