Basketball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry lost against Kingfisher back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Perry Maroons were beaten by the Kingfisher Yellowjackets 65-34. The game marked the Maroons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Kingfisher, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Perry and Kingfisher should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Perry (ranked 126th) will meet Chisholm (ranked 253rd) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Kingfisher will challenge Jones at 6:00 p.m. on Monday up 79 places (20 vs. 99).
