Soccer Game Preview: Navasota vs. Bridge City

The Navasota Rattlers will face off against the Bridge City Cardinals on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Navasota is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 7-3 margin over Furr. The result kept Navasota happy, as they haven't lost a game since February 14th.

Meanwhile, Bridge City entered their tilt with Livingston on Thursday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lions a 6-0 shutout. That's two games straight that Bridge City have won by exactly six goals.

Their offense was hitting Livingston from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Austin Bellanger led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Navasota is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 100 goals over those 16 matchups. Bridge City's victory bumped their record up to 19-4.
