Ladysmith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-7 to the Cameron Comets. On the bright side, the seven- run performance marked the Lumberjacks' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Ladysmith's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cameron, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ladysmith is set to face off against their familiar foe Northwestern at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cameron will challenge rival Cumberland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
