Hillcrest won the last time they faced Greenville and Jackson Free did his part to make sure it happened again. The Rams simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Red Raiders 45-14 for which the team can thank Free, who rushed for 12 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 91 yards and a pair of TDs. His passing game has become a key predictor of Hillcrest's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise.

The victory was the third in a row for Hillcrest, bringing their record up to 6-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.3 points over those games. As for Greenville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
