Volleyball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

Jackson lost against Gallia Academy back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Ironman/Ironladies lost 3-0 to the Blue Devils. The Ironman/Ironladies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-19, 25-13.

Ella Osborne paced Jackson's offense, picking up eight kills. Osborne got some help from Daycee Howard and her eight assists.

Gallia Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gracyn Clark out in front who had 38 assists and 12 digs. That's the most assists Clark has posted over her last six matchups. Another player making a difference was Chloe Bennett, who had 19 digs and two aces.

Jackson now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Gallia Academy, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0.

Jackson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Miami Trace on the 23rd. As for Gallia Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Fairland on the 23rd.
