Basketball Recap: GREEN Upstate Takes a Loss

GREEN Upstate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Southside Christian Sabres, falling 69-36. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Owls of the 52-31 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

GREEN Upstate's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Southside Christian, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. GREEN Upstate will welcome Ware Shoals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southside Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Greenville Tech Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
