After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Norfolk Christian, Oaktree Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Suffolk Christian Academy Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Oaktree Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Suffolk Christian Academy between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Suffolk Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Taylor Foster, who had six kills, six digs, and four aces. Foster has been hot, having posted six or more kills the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emery Garza, who had eight digs and one assist.

Oaktree Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Suffolk Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Coming up, Oaktree Academy will host TEACH Homeschool at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Suffolk Christian Academy, they will take on Mount Calvary Christian Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
