Football Game Preview: Bishop Amat Lancers vs. Sierra Canyon Trailblazers + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Ryan Salcedo and Jaxsen Stokes are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Bishop Amat Lancers will welcome the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Bishop Amat strolled past Loyola with points to spare, taking the game 30-14. Given the Lancers' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Cubs are ranked 131st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Sierra Canyon put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Notre Dame (SO) 45-10. 45 seems to be a good number for the Trailblazers as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Bishop Amat better keep an eye on Jerod Terry Jr.. He was instrumental in Sierra Canyon's win, rushing for 241 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per carry. Those 241 rushing yards gave Terry Jr. a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Laird Finkel, who threw for 329 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.2 yards per attempt.

Bishop Amat's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Sierra Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
