Centennial has gone 8-2 against Cleburne recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Centennial Spartans will take on the Cleburne Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Centennial has nine straight victories, Cleburne has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Centennial will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Mansfield Timberview, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Centennial managed a 42-38 win over Mansfield Timberview on Friday.

Meanwhile, Cleburne came up short against Seguin on Friday and fell 59-46. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 832nd, while the Cougars are ranked 322nd).

Cleburne's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Centennial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Centennial took their victory against Cleburne when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 62-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Centennial since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
