Volleyball Recap: Saint Jo's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Saint Jo was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Electra on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Whitesboro Bearcats on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since August 19th.

While Saint Jo was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-11.

Saint Jo's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-11. As for Whitesboro, they moved to 20-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Saint Jo will square off against Petrolia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitesboro, they will be playing at home against Ponder at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
