Soccer Recap: Bellbrook Comes Up Short at Home Against Archbishop Alter

Bellbrook unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Archbishop Alter Knights by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Bellbrook fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Archbishop Alter since Friday.

Ashelyn Barrios and Anelise Terry scored both of Bellbrook's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Coming up, Bellbrook will challenge Sidney at 7:15 p.m. on the 25th. As for Archbishop Alter, they will face off against Centerville at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
