South Lenoir came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the East Duplin Panthers, falling 5-0. The loss continues a trend for South Lenoir in their meetings with East Duplin: they've now lost four in a row.

South Lenoir's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13-2. As for East Duplin, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7-2 record this season.

As of now, neither South Lenoir nor East Duplin have any future games scheduled.
